DESCRIPTION:Join our free online peer support for mums and mums-to-be on Monday Evenings\, it’s a safe judgment-free space for mums to say whatever they need to. \nMore than 1 in 4 mums in Cumbria experience difficulties with their mental health. Whether you have a diagnosis or would like to be around others who ‘get’ what you’re going through. Happy Mums is here for you. \nAll our groups are:\n– Free\n– Open to all mums\, mums-to-be and those who identify as mums throughout the whole motherhood journey\n– Run by staff and volunteers who have their own experiences of Maternal Mental Health – we get it.\n– Child-friendly – while the focus of our sessions is on mum\, we get that they may still want to say hi on screen! \nWe do require attendees to sign up beforehand for our online groups – this ensures the link for the group is only shared with mums (remember covid zoom room ‘drop-ins’ we want to avoid those!) \nFor more details on how peer support works via Teams\, a detailed run-down of what happens in our sessions\, and to sign up\, head to: https://happymums.org.uk/project/mondays-7-30pm-virtual/
