DESCRIPTION:Join our free peer support group for mums and mums-to-be at Brampton Community Centre on Thursday mornings\, it’s a safe judgment-free space for mums to say whatever they need to. \nMore than 1 in 4 mums in Cumbria experience difficulties with their mental health. Whether you have a diagnosis or would like to be around others who ‘get’ what you’re going through. Happy Mums is here for you. \nAll our groups are:\n– Free\n– Open to all mums\, mums-to-be and those who identify as mums throughout the whole motherhood journey\n– Walk-in friendly – no need to book ahead\n– Accessible for wheelchairs\, buggies\, etc\n– Neuro-divergent friendly\n– Run by staff and volunteers who have their own experiences of Maternal Mental Health – we get it.\n– Child-friendly – while the focus of our sessions is on mum\, we have toys and books on hand for the little ones. \nFor more details on how to find the venue and a detailed run-down of what happens in our sessions\, head to: https://happymums.org.uk/project/thursdays-10am-brampton/
