This week alongside Baby Week UK and our weekly Monday Forest School Session – we will have lots of extra fun baby, pre walker preschool friendly activities for families to enjoy. Little Trees Forest school is a nature-based, child-centred inspirational learning process. It supports play, exploration and supported risk-taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through child-led, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. The session is led by a fully qualified leader from Little Trees Forest School.

Your children will be able to engage in our weekly ongoing provisions such loose parts mud, water and sand play as well as opportunities for climbing, balancing and swinging. We do set up some natural forest school inspired activities each week, these are done using mainly natural resources and of course are optional for children to participate in. We are very sustainable and look to re-use and recycle where possible.

It is important for children to learn the importance of looking after and respecting our earth by exploring and learning about wildlife and nature, engaging in some risky play, critical thinking and life skills which we try to achieve throughout our sessions.

Each week we will aim to cook something on the fire pit as a mid morning snack where we come together to chat and socialise.
