SUMMARY:Toddler and Me
DESCRIPTION:Toddler and Me is an informal group for families with children aged 1 and 2 years\, that allows you to mix with other parents and helps to get your child ready to go to nursery. \n\nEach week will focus on a different aspect of your child’s development\, including: \n\nMessy play where your child can enjoy sensory play with lots of different experiences of sounds\, touch and smell.\nOpportunities for your child to play with children their own age.\nRhyme and stories to support your child’s speech and language development.\nOutside play with opportunities for your child to run\, jump and use their physical skills to support and develop their coordination skills.\n\nStaff will be on hand to provide advice and support around your child’s health\, supporting your child’s development and keeping your child safe. \nThe groups are free and run for 90 minutes\, once a week. Don’t worry if you can’t make the start or need to leave early – these are drop-in sessions\, and you can stay for as long as you like. \n\nToddler and Me runs from all of our Family Hubs.
