DESCRIPTION:Snail and the Whale (U\, 2019\, 25min) \nA tiny snail goes on an amazing journey by hitching a ride on the tail of a huge humpback whale. \nTiddler (U\, 2024\, 22min) \nA small fish with a big imagination gets lost in the deep wide ocean\, until he is saved by his own storytelling. \n– \nOur tickets are £3 each to make sure these films are very accessible to our youngest audiences and help to introduce children to film and cinema. \nNo adult unaccompanied by a child (up to age 14) will be admitted to ensure the screening remains safe and focused on our teeniest film fans\, but these screenings are also open to additional siblings\, family and friends. Tickets are required for both children and adults. However\, babies under 1 are not required to purchase a ticket. \nAll films shown are a certificate U and we aim to show shorter films targeted at younger audiences without any trailers or adverts. \nThese screenings also have a reduced capacity to give the shortest attention spans room to fidget and wiggle around freely. \nDue to the nature of these films\, audience noise and movement is to be expected.

DESCRIPTION:Baby Bells is a gentle baby led class that focuses on relaxation\, incorporates baby massage and baby yoga movements\, sensory playtime\, tummy time and ending with sensory lights and snuggle time. After class there is time for a drink and biscuits whilst able to chat to the other new parents in the class. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. \nTuesdays 2.30-2.50pm\nThursdays 10.30-10.50am & 11.15-11.35am\nFridays 2.30-2.50pm\nSaturdays 10.30-10.50am \nYou don’t need a ticket to attend – just come along! \nThis event will be held in the children’s section\, which is at the rear of the first floor of the library. Baby changing facilities are available\, and there is an area to leave buggies in the children’s library. The library is fully wheelchair accessible and there is Blue Badge parking in the Grand Arcade shopping centre. There is an accessible toilet with radar key access.
