MindWell is the mental health website for adults in Leeds. It’s funded by NHS Leeds CCG to bring together information from the NHS, Leeds City Council and the third sector into one ‘go to’ place.
For Mums and Parents, you can talk to your midwife, GP or health visitor, at any stage, about how you’re feeling. They will ask you some questions to understand a bit more about what you’ve been experiencing and discuss what support is available to help you feel better.
Support for pregnant women and parents-to-be is a really useful guide and up-to-date information. Whether you want to know more about taking care of your well-being during pregnancy or are feeling low / anxious, MindWell has information and guidance to make you feel better and supported.
If you are a professional supporting others, MindWell has many resources, information and guides to help you along with all the details you may need to refer to another organisation. They also have a directory, which gives quick links to a wide range of local and national services that support people’s mental health including help for issues like housing and money worries. You can refer yourself directly to these services. Referral to secondary care is through your GP or another professional.
