Public Health Integrated Nursing Service in Leeds – Support & Information


Join the Public Health Integrated Nursing Service (PHINS) at one of the following:

  • Their antenatal course, Preparation for Birth and Beyond, for first time parents to help you prepare for your babies arrival. You can find out more from your midwife or contact us directly.
  • One of their breast feeding groups or specialist clinic. Currently these are held virtually via Zoom and we have virtual clinics being held through the week.
  • Health, Exercise, Nutrition for the Really Young (HENRY – Health Start Brighter Future) programme. This is for parents or carers of children aged 0-5 years. Free to join and currently being held via Zoom. It covers parenting confidence, physical activity for little ones, what children and families eat, family lifestyle habits and enjoying life as a family.

Leeds Community Healthcare also have the Infant Mental Health Service. The aim to promote emotional well-being in infants by supporting caregivers to build secure relationships with their babies. They support parents-to-be and caregivers with a baby up to the age of two and help families who are registered with a GP in Leeds and who are struggling with early attachment relationships.
