About the event
The Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby national conference, hosted by Baby Week Charity, is a full-day event bringing together professionals, community leaders, and families to share ideas and initiatives supporting early childhood and parental wellbeing and health. It highlights the importance of investing in the early years of life and provides a collaborative platform for exploring challenges, innovations, and best practices across sectors.

Bringing together a wealth of experience, knowledge, research and partners working locally and nationally. From engaging discussions and workshops, to panel sessions and talks, the day will bring together partners from all sectors focussed on promoting the best start.

To mark 10 years of Baby Week since the launch in Leeds, were holding the free national conference here in the heart of the city at the Met Hotel, with planned refreshment breaks, lunch for delegates.

Best Start and Beyond - Improve health outcomes
Kathryn Ingold FFPH, Chief Officer, Consultant in Public Health & Dan Barton, Deputy Director are excited to share the new Best Start and Beyond Strategy – created to improve population health outcomes and reduce inequalities experienced by Leeds children aged 0 – 5. We will provide a whistle stop tour of the case for action, the evidence, what families have told us, new opportunities we are building on, our priorities, action plan and links across the system.
