National Baby Week brings together services to promote the best start in life, celebrating early childhood and raising awareness of the vital first five years through annual citywide events and national collaboration. On behalf of the Early Help Partnership in Hull, we are excited to be taking part in Baby Week in 2026 with a focus on ‘Chat, Play, Read with Me: Together We Build the Best Start’.
We are proud to work together with our parents/carers and committed team and Partners to ensure all children get the best start in life. During Baby Week we will showcase a range of events and activities across the city which will allow further opportunities to highlight the importance of the first 1001 days of a child’s life, so they can thrive, and grow into happy and healthy children and adults.

Best Start Family Hubs
Each Best Start Family Hub provides a wide range of services to support you during pregnancy and throughout the first 1001 days of your child’s life and as your child grows and develops.
Hull Libraries
Anyone can use our libraries, whatever your age. It’s free to join our libraries, as are most of its services and events.

Over the last decade, Baby Week UK has expanded across England, helping thousands of parents, carers, professionals, and community members connect, learn, and access support. By showcasing free and low-cost services, activities, and opportunities, Baby Week aims to reduce barriers and improve awareness of the support available for families with children under five. Join Baby Week from anywhere in the world
Baby Week offers a wide range of free online and hybrid events, making it easy to take part wherever you are. Parents and carers can access sessions such as baby first aid and baby massage, while professionals can join daily ‘Lunch & Learn’ webinars led by national experts.
