Baby Week Cambridgeshire
About us
This is more than a celebration; it’s a vibrant shared mission, Baby Week 2025 will bring together local organisations, services, and communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to shine a spotlight on the importance of the very earliest years when a child’s brain grows faster than at any other point. A baby’s experiences and interactions during these early years shape how they develop, learn, feel and connect with others for the rest of their lives. Together, we want to share key health promotion messages, help parents understand the importance of their baby’s first relationships, and highlight the fantastic local services, resources, and initiatives available to support families on their parenting journey during this critical time.
For our closing event we will be holding a county wide baby rave both virtual and within settings, which will be a short and joyful celebration of early childhood development through music and, movement, singing and play. If you would like to be involved in our Baby Rave by hosting an event or virtually please get in touch using the web address.
New Research and early years best practice show that simple daily activities like dancing, singing, playing and reading can have significant developmental benefits- supporting language, social and emotional skills, physical coordination and lifelong love of learning.
