Baby Week Leeds

About us

Baby Week was born in Leeds and is celebrating 10 years in 2025! Baby Week was established to promote the best start in life, bring sectors together and celebrate babies! Working with Child Friendly Leeds, NHS and partners across the city to support the ambition to make it the best place to grow up in and we know we can’t do it alone. Baby Week has one aim, to make the UK the best place to grow up in and we can only do this if we start thinking, planning, working with the lens of a baby, toddler, child and young person. This year the theme is Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby so we’re focussing on free and low cost events, taster activities, wellbeing and health talks and sessions and reducing barriers and inequalities.

“All the events were excellent. My baby and I had so much fun with the event planners and the activities they put on. My baby was so excited and happily joined in. The events were well organised and left me wanting more.”

“Attended baby first-aid and really thorough, informative and easy to follow and retain information. There was an opportunity to ask questions at interval between topics and I appreciate this session being delivered at no extra cost.”

“It was lovely! Very accessible and friendly, lots of baby sensory bits and sections for the babies to hang out in. I loved the nursery rhyme singing too the two people running it were great!”
