‘Breastfeeding welcome here’  – venues across Bucks

In the UK, you have a legal right to breastfeed in any public place, and any business providing a service to the public is breaking the law if they treat a woman unfavourably for breastfeeding. This means virtually any cafe, shop, or library in Buckinghamshire is a breastfeeding welcome venue by law.

Look out for “Breastfeeding Welcome Here” stickers in windows, as some areas run accreditation schemes to explicitly show a venue’s commitment to supporting breastfeeding mothers, though all public venues should be supportive in practice. You can also contact your Health Visiting Team for the latest information on local support groups and recommended venues.
