Bump & Beyond
Bump & Beyond sessions are designed to empower women to stay active during pregnancy and after birth with elements of how to exercise with your baby as they grow.
Sessions:
Monday Evening – 6-7pm – Pre natal (pregnant mums)
Wednesday Morning – 9:30-10:30am – Post Natal ( With baby in arms)
What will sessions look like?
There will be a maximum of 12 participants in each session, we will have equipment, however, if you would feel more comfortable to bring your own mat please feel free.
We’ll start with a gentle warm up and then work through appropriate exercises:
Pre -natal
– Pilates exercises to keep your core strong and supporting you and your growing bump
– a circuit based workout so you can work at your pace aimed at keeping you comfortable and strong during your pregnancy.
– cooldown and stretch
Post natal
– Pilates exercises to regain your body awareness and strength post delivery. Helping you reconnect with your core post delivery and care for your back
– Working with baby we’ll complete strengthening exercises to improve your confidence to do exercises at home
– Cooldown and stretch to address areas worked and any aches and pains
Session Cost?
Each session costs £4. You can either book for the whole block of sessions, or pay on the day. Your first session will be Free of Charge.
Block 1- September 2025 – December 2025
Block 2- January 2026 – April 2026
Please note Pre Natal: exercise during pregnancy has many physical and mental health benefits and is generally safe for most women. However knowing whether it is safe for you personally, might worry you. If it does please refer to the Active Pregnancy Foundation to take part in their Get Active Questionnaire for Pregnancy.
