This Health Summit aims to:

Highlight the need of supporting Dads on the day that the government launches the new Men’s Health Strategy

Celebrate Supporting Parents as the theme of Baby Week Leeds

Raise awareness about men’s mental health, de-stigmatising the issue and seeking help on the day of International Men’s Day

Our dads will be speaking about their experiences of issues like Maternity, Cancer, Adoption and Children’s Services, Mental Health and how they want to be supported.

Our aim is to support dads who are struggling with issues like isolation and depression.
Leeds Council’s Men’s Health Champion Cllr Paul Wray will attend with an update on the Men’s Health Strategy, and key health bodies have been invited to the event.
